Today I'm sharing a really fun "Open Ended" Easter Egg Printing activity with you.
Most of us realize that Art is about the process for our littles, and not the final outcome of the project.
Another reality is the small amount of time Provider's have to plan, shop for, and prepare Arts & Craft projects-which are all great reasons for including open ended Art Projects in your weekly plan.
For this project you will need the following supplies:
Tempera Paint of your choice, Plastic Easter Eggs, Trays for paint (You could use paper plates as well).,
To prepare: Squirt a different color of paint into each of your trays (or onto paper plates).
Next, you will want to pull apart your plastic eggs, and place 1/2 in the tray for dipping. Use the egg/or a paint brush to spread the paint out in the tray to ready it for printing.
Now the kids are ready to take over! They can stamp, twist, and drag,
to make their own unique pieces of Art!
What are they learning? Fine Motor Development, Colors/Color Mixing, and Sharing
