Here are some ideas to help you plan your Post Office/Mail week. I always used this Theme in my Daycare for the 1st week in February, since it can easily transition into Valentines.

It's helpful to put a shout out to your Daycare families prior to starting your "Post Office" week. Ask them to save "junk mail", envelopes, small boxes, mailers, Magazines (anything the kids can deliver).

Adding a Post office to your Dramatic Play area adds great fun. This can be as simple as adding a few shoe boxes or bins to a table, or as complex as creating some personalized DIY mailboxes for your kiddos.
Adding some satchels or fabric grocery bags to the area allows the kids to "deliver" and "pick-up" mail to their friends.
