The Tree was assembled by the kids and decorated by the kids . She said, "(This is an) open ended activity that can be added to daily or changed daily. The children are able to have a sense of pride for something they did."
Julie K. of Julie's Childcare found a fun way to keep the Christmas magic alive. The children "planted" tic-tacs, sprinkled them with colored sprinkles-only to find
they had grown into rainbow candy canes.
The kiddos at Julie's Childcare kept busy with a wrapping paper workshop! Tons of precut wrapping paper squares, tape, glue, ribbon, scissors. Great for those small motor skills!

While pretending they were Santa the kids at Heidi Slaters Home Childcare wrapped the toys with foil. Foil works great as a reusable wrapping paper, and can be done by even the young children, since no tape is needed.

they look so delicious!
